EMPLOYMENT NEWS--
Jeld-Wen windows and doors is looking for line operators, forklift operators, packagers, loaders, material handlers and maintenance
personnel. They provide training. Applicants must be 18 yrs or older.
The Inn at Weston is looking for kitchen help, dishwashers and waitstaff. Waitstaff needs to be 18 yrs or older.

GROW A ROW FOR HEALTHY SCHOOLS--
Help support the C.A.E.S and G.M.U.H.S. healthy lunch initiative by planting a row of vegetables in your garden this summer for the
schools. There will be a community Grow a Row drop off day on Saturday,
August 23, from 10-12, in the GMUHS cafeteria. The produce will be cleaned and frozen for future use. If you have produce available before or
after this date Jack Carroll, Head of Food Services, would be happy to schedule a drop off time with you. For more information, please contact Anne Lamb or Jack Carroll at 875-2146.
LIFE GUARD COURSES--The Southern Vermont Health and Recreation center is offering a lifeguarding course. Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursdays from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Class will run from June 3rd through June 19th. You must be 15 years old and there is some swimming requirements. MUSIC NEWS--As many of you already know GMUHS will be hosting The Young Americans next September 24-28. They are a touring musical outreach organization that will be working with our students as well as surrounding schools to put on a performance Saturday September 27, at 7:00 in the gymnasium at GMUHS. We are still in need of housing for The Young Americans. It would involve 4 nights. If you can help us out please contact Cindi Austin. School (802-875-2146) Home (802-885-3256).
