Period 4 :  Planning And Preparation Period Description: During this period I meet with parents , teachers and students to develop Individual Education Plans or plan evaluations.  This time is also used for Special Education Team meetings All Other Classes are Study Skills  All of the Study Skills are to assist students with homework assignments, long term assignments and organization of notebooks. This is also an opportunity to help students who have difficulty understanding concepts in any of their general education classes. The content of this class includes the following topics and more: *Organizing for Study * Improving Memory * Taking Notes (two column/ three column ) * Study Strategies * Time Management * Goal Setting * Test Taking Students practice these strategies in this class and their core classes. Students are given an elective credit for this class. Students work on Skills Tutor to improve basic skill areas
