Dotti Therien Special Educator 875-2146 extension 234 My Classes Bio:         I have been a special educator at Green Mountain Union High School for 11 years.  I currently teach Middle School Math, Reading, and Language Arts.  Prior to my position here, I was a middle school math teacher in New Hampshire.  My educational background includes an Associate of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Greenfield Community College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Keene State College, a Master of Arts degree in Education from Castleton State College, and post-graduate courses in special education from St. Joseph's College.           Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked in transportation as an office clerk, night office manager, and dispatcher.  I was here at Green Mountain for three years as an paraprofessional while obtaining my teaching degree.  I have a pilot's license and have navigated the skies around Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.  I enjoy reading, walking, visiting friends and relatives, and interacting with my students.  I live in Bellows Falls with my husband, Larry.  My two children are grown and have nicely provided me with seven grandchildren.  Two of these grandchildren have llittle ones, so I now have three great-grandchildren, also.  I can't think of a better place to be than where I am today.  Teaching at Green Mountain, interacting with my students, sharing joys with my family are all activities that make my life complete.
