GMUHS Math Teachers and Courses
GMUHS has two math teachers for the middle school. They each also teach one high school class. Mrs. Walton teaches seventh grade and Mrs. Ewens teaches eighth grade. At the high school level GMUHS has two full time math teachers. Mrs. Buskey and Ms. Wright. Dr. Rice from the science department teaches one high school course.

GMUHS requires 4 math credits to graduate although some math credits can be earned at the tech center. Courses can be one semester 90 minute blocks or year long 42 minute half block classes.
We offer:
Transition Math --a pre-algebra, pre-algebra general class
Algebra I--basic algebra
Geometry--types of geometry through proofs
Algebra II--polynomials, exponents, mathematical modeling
Business Math--practical real life use of mathematics
Pre-Calc/Trig--trignometry, complex numbers, parametrics, conics
Statistics and Probability--uses and formulae for probability and statistics
AP Calculus--college board curriculum for preparation for AP test
